About the Event

Every February, The Paloma and LaRoux Lash Studio come together to host the Galentine’s Day Pamper Party, a deeply meaningful celebration for the women currently enrolled in STEP2, as well as recent program graduates.

​

STEP2 is a Reno-based nonprofit providing long-term residential treatment and recovery support for women battling substance use disorder. Many participants are mothers rebuilding family connections, women exiting traumatic environments, or individuals taking brave steps to break generational cycles of addiction.

​

For many, this event is the first time in years they’ve been offered kindness without expectation, pampering without guilt, and a chance to feel valued simply for being themselves.

​

Our mission is to create a day where the women of STEP2 can experience joy, dignity, community, and hope.

why this event matters

The Galentine’s Day Pamper Party is designed to:

Most women entering STEP2 share similar stories — trauma, instability, lack of support systems, and long-term struggles with addiction.

 

Stepping into recovery requires immense strength, and maintaining that journey is even harder without community encouragement.

  • Restore a sense of humanity in women often judged or overlooked

  • Create a safe, warm, and uplifting environment

  • Show them they matter and deserve to be celebrated

  • Build confidence and self-worth, which are vital to long-term recovery

  • Honor their progress and encourage continued success

Each year, participants tell us that this event is one of their favorite moments during their recovery — a day where they feel normal, pampered, and emotionally supported.

Growing Impact

We are proud to be entering our third year, and each year the event has grown in both participation and impact.

Year 1

  • ~30 participants

  • $8,000 raised

  • Basic pampering services and a simple dinner

  • Immediate demand for an annual tradition

Year 2

  • ~40 participants (including recent graduates)

  • $10,000 raised

  • Enhanced services (expanded beauty treatments, entertainment, improved gift bags)

  • The event became one of the most anticipated experiences for STEP2 participants

Year 3 Goals

2026

  • Serve 40–50 women

  • $15,000 goal

  • Expand service offerings

  • Provide more robust gift bags and keepsakes

  • Elevate the space and décor to match our Winter Wonderland theme

  • Increase community involvement from volunteers and sponsors

We are inviting local businesses, brands, organizations, and individuals to partner with us through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer contributions.
