step2 galentine's event 02/09/24
The Paloma held a Galentine's event for the transitional residents of Step2 on February 9th and we partnered with local small business owners in Reno for a night of food, relaxation, bonding and music.
All the vendors had items to gift and each guest had a custom tote bag created for their goodies by Monroi clothing, Abloom created bespoke bouquets for each guest, and they were pampered with nail treatments by amanda of Mandicures, and hair styling BY GAGE of a list beauty salon.
Kira from Gemini gemini esthetics, Kim from true form day spa, and Sarah from skin cancer & dermatology institute ran stations with facial massages, masks, treatments and hand massages.
Michelle from laroux lash studio helped organize the event and had an eyelash station where each of the girls got their eyelashes done, and the guests took home eyelashes, mascara, eyeliner, and other things that they would need to replicate their look. Noble Pie delivered pizzas and wings, and Paloma staff served refreshments and baked goods made by Paloma owner, Katie Mulreany.
We also had live music, cases of work-friendly shoes in multiple sizes to choose from and a Valentine's themed photo booth run by Heather Aileen. It was an incredible experience for both the residents and small businesses and with the community’s support will be the first of many more to come!
